At YMCA Camp Arrowhead we made a promise to strengthen our community through youth development, social responsibility, and healthy living. Our camp program can only be as good as our staff; therefore, we focus on selecting the best staff possible. Because of these high expectations we want to make sure that our camp staff consists of dedicated cause driven leaders. If you'd like to join our amazing summer team and be a leader in children's lives then check out our open positions.
Camp Arrowhead Staff
Jason has been affiliated with the YMCA for many years, working in a variety of positions, and is looking forward to his role as Center Director. Jason's goals for Camp Arrowhead remain the same: a focus on programming, to provide campers with new and memorable experiences, and to have each camper make a friend at Camp. The friendships and new experiences that we provide for children at camp is vital to growth and development and gives them memories that will last a lifetime.

At 16 she received her first job as a summer camp counselor at their summer camp. While attending SUNY Brockport she joined the Northwest Family YMCA part time and was hired full time in 2001. She resides in Webster with her husband and has 2 sons, Casey (8) and Ethan (6) who will be attending Camp Arrowhead this year!
Sarah Mikiewicz, Program Coordinator
Sarah has been with the YMCA since 2008. While studying for her A.A.S. in Tourism Management at Finger Lakes Community College, Sarah worked in the School Aged Child Care department as well as facilitating the ropes course at Arrowhead. She recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Outdoor Recreation Business Administration (ORBA) from the University of Maine at Farmington. Sarah was fortunate enough to hold a variety of positions while attending college in Maine: she was an alpine ski instructor, an after school program coordinator, the Director of Social Media for the ORBA program, and also a Mainly Outdoors Recreation Leader. Her favorite part of Maine was working as a Recreation Leader where she was able to bring students and community members on hiking, biking, and paddle trips around Maine. Now back in New York, Sarah is working as the Program Coordinate here at Arrowhead. Her future aspirations are to develop new environmental education programs and introduce more youth to the outdoors. She is studying to become a New York State Guide.
