Employment

Camp Bay View will start hiring for the 2015 camp season in January of 2015.  Please contact Jason Brannigan if you are interested in being part of the Camp Bay View team!
Jason Brannigan, Sports and Camp Director

Jason has been with Bay View since 2007, when he was hired as a part-time youth sports instructor. In 2009 he joined the Camp Bay View team as the Onondaga Unit Leader.

From there, he worked up to Boys Unit Leader, followed by two years as Assistant Camp Director, before assuming the head role in 2013.

Jason’s official title is Sports and Camp Director, which means that when camp is not in session, he oversees all of Bay View’s youth and adults sports programs.

Stephanie Falvo, Onondaga/Teen Unit Leader

Stephanie has been with Camp Bay View since 2009, when she was hired as a Teen Girls Counselor. From there she quickly moved up the ranks as a Team Leader for Teen Girls, Interim Assistant Director, and now as the Unit Leader for all Onondaga/Teen campers at Camp Bay View.

Stephanie is a full time teacher in East Rochester, NY and enjoys carrying on her work with children during her summers.  She brings a wealth of knowledge to camp from her years of teaching.

Over the years she has been an integral part of the program/schedule development for the Onondaga & Teen Campers and played a key role in the community outreach program that started at Camp Bay View in 2009.  She has a passion for working with children and is currently enjoying her fifth summer at Camp Bay View.

Jake Bondy, Tuscarora/Mohawk Unit Leader

Jake works year round for the Bay View Family YMCA.  During the school year he works for the Before & After School Program, and for the past 3 summers he has been part of the CBV team.

Jake started out as a counselor, move onto the Mohawk Boys Assistant Team Leader, and the following year took over the Team Leader position due to his quick learning. He currently is the Unit Leader for the Tuscarora and Mohawk Boys and has redefined these age groups with his passion for fun, respect, and team work.

In the fall he will be entering his senior year at St. John Fisher studying psychology and is looking forward to continuing to work for the YMCA in the meantime.

In his spare time he loves to play soccer and hang out with friends. He loves to eat at Panera Bread, especially the mac and cheese!  Jake’s favorite part of summer is outdoor bonfires with friends/family, and Camp Bay View of course!
