Teen Leadership Programs
Leadership Experience Adventure (LEAP)
Entering 9th and 10th grade as of September 2015
8 week program (must be available a minimum of 6 weeks)
Session: June 29 – August 21
This program provides a service learning experience for teens. Teens will learn the values of working with a leading service organization and teamwork through a series of team-building activities.  Additionally, they will assist in delivering camp programming while working under the guidance of camp specialty staff. Participants will enjoy camp activities including swimming and other camp favorites daily.
Counselor-In-Training (C.I.T)
Entering 10th & 11th grade as of September 2015
4 week program
Session 1: June 29 – July 24
Session 2: July 27 – August 21
Sessions 9 & 10:  CIT's may be offered the opportunity to volunteer at camp based on their progression and performance in the program.
This is a hands-on-program intended to provide teens the opportunity to learn the basic responsibilities similar to those of our counselors. This includes planning daily activities, collaborating with coworkers, behavior management, public speaking, and first aid training. Participants will focus on tools and skills to become the best counselor while learning about Camp Bay View. Each C.I.T. will be provided opportunities to put learned skills into action while co-leading camp groups in a supportive environment.

All teens interested in the LEAP or CIT program must complete and submit an application form. Once reviewed qualifying teens will be contacted about an interview with the LEAP/CIT coordinator to determine if the program is the right fit. At the conclusion of the interview process, all Teens will be notified to let them know if they are accepted into the program.

Please contact Julie Winter at 585-341-4061 with any questions regarding our LEAP/CIT program.
