Welcome!

Southeast Y camps are smaller, more personal day camps. Smaller camp size ensures your child personal interaction with staff, inclusion and participation in camp activities, and a great camp experience. We offer a variety of camps to suit your child’s interests and sense of adventure, proudly incorporating our core values...CARING, HONESTY, RESPECT and RESPONSIBILITY.   
 

Our well-trained staff ensures a safe and fun environment for your child. Siblings receive a $5 discount for Preschool camps and a $10 discount for School Age camps per session.

BEFORE AND AFTER CARE IS AVAILABLE.
 


Get your kids ready for swimming this summer:
Check out our Deep End Skill Building Program, to help your child pass the deep end test. Our friendly and encouraging staff will help to build confidence, improve skills, and instill a sense of success in your child. For children ages 6-12 years. Child must know basic swim strokes. Click here to register. KEYWORD: DEEP

CAMPS - SCHOOL AGE

FUN AND FIT CAMP 

Fun and Fit Camp is a healthy path towards a bright future. Through new and exciting activities, your child grows and develops life-long skills to make healthy choices in their daily activities, creating a healthy attitude and awareness of the world around them. We reinforce good character and introduce your child to new foods and creative exercise options, instilling positive habits to last a lifetime. This is a popular camp and we encourage parents to enroll their child early.

YOUTH SPORTS CAMP 

Sports Camp is a great way to expose your child to an assortment of sports. Our knowledgeable staff will help your child develop sport-specific skills while enjoying fun, sports-related activities, promoting positive competition and sportsmanship.
Weeks 1 and 2: Soccer.  Week 3: Baseball.  Week 4: Baseball/Field Trip to Red Wings Game.  Week 5: Football.  Week 6: Football/Trip to Buffalo Bills Training Camp.  Week 7: Sports Camp Olympics/Field Trip to Eastside Y.  Weeks 8 and 9:  Basketball.  Week 10: All Star Week.

GYMNASTICS CAMP 

Gymnastics Camp is a chance to learn and progress in gymnastics skills in a safe, comfortable environment. Your child will gain greater strength, flexibility, and coordination, and see an increase in self image. Performing in the Friday show for family and friends, swimming, and participating in weekly themed events is all part of the experience.

TAEKWONDO CAMP 

Taekwondo Camp is a great place to learn the three C's: confidence, control, and concentration. Character, self-confidence, and discipline are the heart of this martial arts program. All experience levels welcome. 
July 6-10, July 13-17, August 17-21, and August 24-28
Ages 6-13 years

TEEN COOKING CAMP

Your child will learn an essential life skill through daily, hands-on cooking activities, gardening, nutrition lessons, and visits from the area's culinary experts. This camp will build confidence in the kitchen, teach how to follow a recipe, and show safe knife skills. Kids will cook various foods and cuisines throughout the week, and prepare a full meal on Friday. A daily fitness activity is also included.

VOLUNTEER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The Volunteer Internship Program gives teens the opportunity to give back to the community while learning valuable job skills. Participants volunteer in a specific department of the Southeast Y, shadowing a staff person and actively using what they learn with hands-on experiences. Participants also participate in fitness and team building activities, and community service projects.
