We offer a progressive program of skill instruction for all ages from beginner through advanced in traditional Shotokan karate. The classes and frequent special events provide a family-friendly environment where many friendships have been made during the 17 years this program has been running. Over twenty YMCA members who started as beginners at Bay View have earned their black belts at the branch, and many have continued to higher degrees and now teach our classes. Look into Bay View Karate and learn whether our youth or teen/adult classes might be right for yourself or someone in your family.
