The Westside District YMCA is holding the First Annual Cancer Survivor 5K, Walk, and Family Run on June 8.
All of the proceeds will go to the Y's Invest in Youth Campaign, which supports programs like Livestrong - a free 12-week adult cancer survivor program.
The event is in memory of Scott Dale, who worked at the YMCA as a Readyfit coach.
Jeremy Flint, Associate Executive Director of the Northwest Family YMCA of Greater Rochester, and Lise Crevier, a graduate of the Y's Livestrong program joined Caroline Tucker for a live interview.
The event will be held at the YMCA Camp Northpoint, 249 North Greece Road, Hilton, NY.
