All of us at the Y are grateful for the outpouring of support many of you have expressed. Please know we are committed to doing everything possible to secure the future of the YMCA, and all its services, as these uncertain times continue.
Closure for any length of time represents a significant threat to our non-profit organization. That’s why your ongoing membership will help us provide us a fighting chance during these tough times.
As all of us face this unprecedented time of uncertainty, we ask you to consider joining us in our mission driven work during these challenging times. If you continue your membership dues, you will be playing a vital role in helping us continue to meet the needs of kids, families and individuals in our communities who need us most. For however long we are closed, we will send you a donation letter for tax purposes to reflect your membership fees during the closure. If you choose to continue your membership dues no action is required. Please accept our gratitude.
Place a Hold on Your Membership
For members who can no longer afford to retain their memberships, we ask you to reach out to your local branch (see the listing below) and place your membership on hold, freezing payments until we are able to open our doors. By placing your membership on hold, you will have no action to take when our doors reopen as all memberships placed on hold will be automatically reactivated by the Y. If this is your choice we thank you for staying a part of our Y family.
