Daily Health Screening: Y ROC Health Scan

All Guests to Complete Scan to Access Facilities

To help keep members, staff and the Rochester community as safe as possible, the YMCA of Greater Rochester is implementing a daily health screen prior to entering all Y locations.

The daily health screening, called Y ROC Health Scan, was developed in partnership with URMC. Before coming back to the Y, we are asking all members to register with Y ROC Health Scan.

You can access the Y ROC Health Scan here or you can find it in our app in the ‘WHAT’S HAPPENING’ section.

You need to visit Y ROC Health Scan and complete a screening every day before coming to the Y. 

How to Register

When you visit the welcome screen for the first time, you will need to register. To get started select ‘Register’ as circled below.


To register, you will need fill out each line: First Name, Last Name, Member Number (key tag number), Email and Password. (This account is separate from all other YMCA accounts. We do, however, suggest using the same email and password as your YMCA Membership account.)

Once you have registered, you will be directed to the screen below (The website will be disabled until we begin reopening). At this screen, you will be able to add family members to your account.

To add your family members, you will need to type in First Name, Last Name and Member Number (key tag number) for each family member. If your minor does not have an individual key tag please enter your key tag number.

How It Works

After you have registered, you will be able to use your email and password to sign into Y ROC Health Scan to compete your daily screening prior to coming to the YMCA. The screening will ask you to report if you are experiencing any symptoms related to COVID. Any individual who displays any symptoms of an illness will not be allowed to enter the building.

After completing your health scan, you will self-scan into the branch.

If you need to reset your password, first, make sure you have confirmed your email. If you do not have a confirmed email, the password reset email will not be able to send.

Not using Y ROC Health Scan?

If you do not utilize Y ROC Health Scan, you must complete an in-person health scan when you arrive at the YMCA which includes a temperature check. Please look for the appropriate signs at your Y for in-person health scans.
