Our first highlight is one is someone you see just about every day when you come through our door, Tim Leach. Tim has been a part of our branch for many years, always greeting members with a smile at the front desk.

What do you like most about the Corning Family YMCA?
The people! The members are like family. If I am away the members are asking where I am, is everything OK, when will he be back? We usually trade jokes, talk about the weather or any current events going on. The members are more like friends than clients.
Why is it important to you to work with members?
I enjoy working with them, helping them out with anything they need, anything I can do to make their day better.
The thing you like most about being a Member Service Rep is…
To help the members or staff with anything I can. If it can make their day a little happier then I have done my job.
What is the best part about working for the YMCA of Greater Rochester?
Being a part of an organization bigger than our facility. This also gives us the opportunity for trainings and programs not offered to us as an independent facility.

I enjoy talking to some of the folks who come in with our community agencies. To see them smile really makes my day.
