Each year our craft fair has approximately 90+ vendors, each unique in their own way. All products sold at this event are handmade locally. Crafter’s booth fees benefit the Y’s Annual Campaign, which provides a Y experience to families who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford services such as summer camp, swimming lessons, preschool programs, and membership.
This event is free and open to the community! Door prizes, raffles, and concessions are available throughout the day.

Crafts for a Cause consists of all handmade products. There is no buy-sell (LuLaRoe, Tupperware, MaryKay, etc.) in this event. This is a juried show. All vendor applications are reviewed by a staff committee to determine the quality and craft type before acceptance. There are a limited number of spots for each craft type to ensure a wide variety for our shoppers.
Applications are accepted primarily online. 3 digital photos of your product are required. You may submit up to 5 photos. Applications are accepted for review from March 1, 2019 through July 31, 2019. All applications will be reviewed when the application is closed. Any applications received after the close date will be reviewed to be placed on a waitlist.

Payment for a booth is only taken once a vendor is accepted into the event. Payments are taken by cash, check, or credit card. Any payment may be taken at the Eastside Family YMCA Welcome Center when we are open (rochesterymca.org/eastside). Cash or checks may be mailed to Eastside Family YMCA Attn: Crafts for a Cause, Penfield NY, 14526. Checks are made out to the Eastside Family YMCA. Credit card payments may also be taken over the phone (341-4000 for the Welcome Center or 341-4023 for the Crafts for a Cause Coordinator).
Payments are required by October 1 to secure your placement once accepted. If your payment is not received by this date, you will forfeit your placement. If you are unable to participate in Crafts for a Cause after receiving your acceptance letter, you are eligible for a refund before November 1. Any vendor withdrawals on or after November 1 will not receive a refund.
