Youth gymnastics is a co-ed sports program for boys and girls ages 6-12 years old. This class helps children develop fundamental skills and incorporates teamwork through instructional play. Whether it’s gaining the confidence that comes from learning to play or building the positive relationships that lead to good sportsmanship and teamwork, participation in sports at the Y is focused on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

Northwest – 730 Long Pond Road (Greece)
Southeast – 111 East Jefferson Road (Pittsford)

Youth gymnastics is an exciting sport that incorporates discipline and fun while learning how to flip, twist, and roll. This class will help children learn how to work on individual progress as well as the crucial elements of becoming a team player, discipline, and respect for their peers. Our gymnastics program offers a variety of skill levels starting from our toddler class and progresses up to our competitive team.

Youth gymnastics is created by skills required from the U.S.A.G. core curriculum. We will teach you how to properly stretch and warm up muscles to help prevent injuries. Participants will learn specific skills on the floor, un-even bars, vault and high beam that will let them progress to our higher gymnastic levels. We also offer classes specific to tumbling.
