Nestled in the heart of Rochester, the Lewis Street YMCA Neighborhood Center serves as a vibrant community hub offering a variety of programs and services for all ages. This welcoming facility provides a safe space for engaging in enriching activities that promote physical health, personal development and social connection. Community members can enjoy our Fairy Grandparents program, teen programs,  gymnasium, outdoor playground and outdoor basketball court. One of the most impactful partnerships here at Lewis Street is with Foodlink, largely through our food pantry. The food pantry is open 8 am-8 pm, Monday-Friday. The pantry is stocked with a variety of food.

In working with the Monroe County Department of Human Services’ (MCDHS) Office of Community Engagement & Partnerships (OCEP), the YMCA of Greater Rochester is able to host essential services – SNAP, HEAP, Mental Health, DMV – right in the neighborhoods in which people live.
