For over 127 years, the YMCA of Greater Rochester has been building friendships that last a lifetime through overnight camping. For 99 of those seasons, YMCA Camp Cory has been building foundations in youth development on the shores of Keuka Lake. YMCA Camp Cory Alumni are former campers, current/former parents, donors and vendors who have helped further the learning of any child through their camping experience at Cory.

Join the YMCA Camp Cory Alumni Association and connect with former campers and staff. Reconnect with your Cory experience by attending Camp Cory events, helping with current projects, and supporting the continuing mission of making our world a better place by building healthy bodies, minds and spirits.

The primary goal of the Alumni Association is to continue the mission of promoting the Cory ways through active alumni who have benefited from their Cory experience, no matter how long ago. The Cory community is a growing entity whose influence is widespread in many endeavors and locations throughout the world. Occasionally, you will receive an email notice regarding either an upcoming event or a significant milestone for Camp Cory. You will also receive the Alumni E-News letter via email, twice annually. If you are interested in helping us at an upcoming event, summer time camper drop-off/pick-up, or career advise for a Cory Staff or Camper, please indicate so on your survey.

The Alumni Cabin

Cory Alumni are encouraged to visit camp during the active camping season so that they may observe one full day of camp. The Alumni Cabin, located in Craig Village (also known as Iroquois and Junior Camp) was built to help facilitate simple, on-site accommodations for those who travel from far away. Alumni may stay in the cabin during the camping season for one night of stay while attending meals at the Dining Hall and activities on campus. The Administration and Board of YMCA Camp Cory believe that the best way to understand the needs of the camp and its population is through observation.

We strongly encourage you to request your overnight stay with us well in advance of the official camp season as the availability of the Alumni Cabin is on a first-come basis. We ask that your request to stay be limited to a single night so that others may have use of the cabin, as well. Please respect our no-pet policy for everyone’s safety.

Please email your request to Pat Foster (Executive Director) at

We look forward to seeing you back at Camp Cory!
