SCHOOL-AGE SUMMER DAY CAMP AT THE YMCA

School-age summer day camp gives campers a traditional camp experience and introduction to a wide variety of activities. Campers are grouped by grade level and have daily activities tailored for each age group.

Each day, campers participate in small and large group activities, swim and specialty time. YMCA Day Camps meets and exceeds all camper-to-counselor ratios as designated by the New York State Department of Health. Low camper-to-counselor ratios ensure a personalized and impactful experience for every child we serve.

Each group will follow their own schedule based on campers’ age, abilities and interests. Campers will experience a well-balanced program each day. Day Camps tries their hardest to tailor the camp day to experiences that will be most beneficial for each group. The goal is to provide a safe and fun experience that challenges campers to gain confidence and independence.
