The Lewis Street YMCA Neighborhood Center is proud to host its 3rd annual Lockdown on Violence, an event dedicated to bringing the Marketview Heights neighborhood together. This initiative aims to create a safe, uplifting space where residents can connect, engage, and strengthen relationships with local law enforcement.
This free, family-friendly event will include bounce houses, inflatables, and fun entertainment, offering young people a safe, structured place to play and unwind while staying active.
Guests can enjoy a backyard BBQ-style atmosphere while exploring community resources, joining recreational games, and connecting with neighbors. Local law enforcement, including members of the Rochester Police Department, New York State Troopers, and Monroe County Sheriff's Office, will join in the fun by playing football, frisbee, and kickball alongside youth to help build trust and strengthen community bonds.
