The YMCA of Greater Rochester is proud to announce the return of Splash Week for kids and families in the City of Rochester. Splash Week is a free water safety and basic swimming skills program for those with little or no experience. It is open to the community and YMCA of Greater Rochester members. The Y will be able to provide 300 youth during Splash Week with swim lessons thanks to generous support from POOLCORP and their A Splash of Joy program.
“The YMCA has been called America’s Swim Instructor; and while the title is fun, teaching kids and adults lifesaving skills of being safe in and around the water is something we take very seriously,” said Meghan Angel, Executive Director of the Westside Family YMCA. “Having partners like POOLCORP help us reach as many people in our community as possible to do just that.”
