WHAT WILL MY NEW RATE BE?

All 2026 rates can be found here on our website.

WHEN DO NEW RATES GO INTO EFFECT?

The new rates will be in place on April 1, 2026. That means, your first draft day on or after April 1, 2026, will reflect these changes.

Please note: Youth Program Passport Memberships and ROC City Memberships will not increase for 2026.

WHAT DOES THIS RATE INCREASE GO TOWARD?

IS THERE A WAY TO SAVE ON MONTHLY DUES?

Yes, you can save 20% on your membership each month when you refer a new member to any YMCA of Greater Rochester location. With our Member Referral Program, you can recruit a friend to join and once you are both members you BOTH save 20% on your monthly membership dues.

Please note specialized memberships already receiving a discount are not applicable to the 20% Referral Program.

WHY ARE YOU INCREASING?

The YMCA of Greater Rochester is not immune to the impact of rising costs that so many individuals and other organizations are facing. We worked hard to keep our rates affordable and will continue to do so.

I’VE BEEN ASKED TO DONATE TO THE Y? WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MY MEMBERSHIP DUES AND GIVING TO THE Y AS A DONATION?

Donations to the Y allow us to financially support our members and community, whether through Experience Scholarship or access to program providing essential services. Your

generous support had helped us be able to provide a place for those in our community to go who need the Y most, and we could not be more grateful.

CAN I CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP?

The YMCA of Greater Rochester requires 10-day notice to cancel any membership. The YMCA of Greater Rochester allows cancellations through all means through which someone can sign up for a membership. If you do not reach out in writing before then, you will be drafted on your next scheduled draft day for the increased amount. You can cancel your membership here.
