MEMBERSHIP TYPES
A Passport Membership provides members with access to all YMCA of Greater Rochester facilities. All memberships are Passport Memberships unless stated otherwise.

College membership is $55 per month and can be used between May 1 and August 31. Membership must be purchased in person with a valid ID at the time of sign-up.

ROC CITY MEMBERSHIPS
There is a ROC City Membership available for the YMCA at Innovation Square and the Maplewood Family YMCA. This membership provides access to these locations only.

INSURANCE-BASED MEMBERSHIPS
The YMCA of Greater Rochester is proud to partner with Renew Active, SilverSneakers, Silver&Fit, and FitOn to provide free memberships for qualifying Medicare insurance holders. Qualifying Medicare insurance carriers include Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, Elderplan, Aetna, Anthem, UnitedHealthcare, and others. To find out if your insurance plan will cover your membership, please call your insurance provider.
Important Note: While we still have a partnership with UnitedHealthcare, not all of their coverage plans include the YMCA of Greater Rochester.
Insurance-based memberships must be signed up for and renewed in person at your local Y. All insurance-based memberships expire on December 31 and must be renewed on or after January 1.
