Bring your classroom outdoors! YMCA Camp Bay View offers hands-on, adventure-based field trips designed to build teamwork, leadership and confidence. Our experienced staff provide all equipment, instruction and planning support so you can simply show up and enjoy the fun.

 

SCHOOL FIELD TRIP PACKAGES

YMCA Camp Bay View makes your school field trip as easy as 1, 2, 3, 4!
 

Step 1. Request Your Visit

  • Teachers email to start the process.
  • Group leader receives a Pre-Visit Survey from our Camp Director to complete at least two weeks before the event.
  • Helps us match your age group, goals and schedule to the perfect camp experience.

Months Available: May–June or September–November
 

Step 2. Planning Your Adventure

Once your visit is confirmed, your group leader works with our Program Director to plan your adventure

  • Create schedule
  • Pick Activity Rotations
  • Lunch options
  • Rotation preferences

Our Adventure Staff prepare all equipment, supplies and timing ahead of your arrival.

Schools are responsible for providing chaperones and maintaining a 1:10 adult-to-student ratio at all times.

Step 3. Attend Your Adventure

On the day of your trip:

  • Check in with our Camp Bay View team on arrival.
  • We’ll direct buses, show you to your home base under the pavilion and get students ready for fun!
  • Pro Tip- Make sure you divide your students into designated groups for rotations prior to arrival.

Typical Day:

  • Arrival: 9:00–9:30 AM
  • Activities: 9:30 AM–1:30 PM
  • Departure: 1:30–2:00 PM

In case of rain, we adapt! Indoor or covered activities ensure your adventure continues rain or shine.
 

Step 4. Reflection

After your visit, your group leader will receive a Post-Visit Survey (sent 1–2 weeks later) to reflect on how teamwork and lessons from Camp Bay View are applied back in the classroom.

PROGRAM OPTIONS

Choose the Package That Fits Your Day

Each package can be customized to meet your school’s goals and schedule. Pricing is based on the number of students and selected activities. Chaperons are required and included at no additional cost. Must maintain 1:10 ratio at all times.
 

Seneca Package — $15 per student

  • 1–2 hours of programming
  • Choose 2 activity rotations
     

Onondaga Package — $25 per student

  • 3–4 hours of programming
  • Choose 4 activity rotations

Optional Add-Ons

  • Pizza Lunch, Bagged Snack, Fruit & Water — +$5 per person
  • Canoeing or Kayaking (6th grade & up) +$10 per person
