With the holiday season approaching, many families in our community face added challenges putting food on the table. Your generosity has always helped make this season brighter for our neighbors, and that need continues.
As we prepare for the holiday season, we are once again collecting donations to help stock the Food Pantry at the Lewis Street YMCA Neighborhood Center. Donations will be collected November 2-20 at our locations and can be dropped off at designated areas in our facility.
We are collecting the following items from November 2-20 at all our locations:
- Peanut Butter
- Canned Meats (chicken and tuna)
- Canned Beans
- Rice
- Pasta & Pasta Sauce
- Canned Vegetables
- Healthy After-School Snacks (including applesauce and fruit cups, granola bars, whole-grain crackers)
- Pantry Staples (like flour, sugar, spices, salt & pepper and cooking oils)
If you are able, please drop off any of the items listed at our locations.
If you or members of your family are in need of food, please visit our food pantry at The Lewis Street YMCA Neighborhood Center (53 Lewis Street) or this website for more support.
