TEEN LEADERS
Leaders Clubs connect young people ages 12-18 years with adult advisors to develop their leadership potential while fostering a culture of service, belonging, growth mindset, and self-advocacy. With the help of role models and mentors, these teens develop the skills they need to lead positive change in their communities.

SANDS FAMILY FOUNDATION TO SUPPORT NEW CANANDAIGUA YMCA
The YMCA is pleased to announce its plans to build a new facility thanks to a historic $13.5 million gift from the Sands Family Foundation. The gift represents $12 million for the construction of the new Y, with a generous 2:1 match for fundraising purposes, and up to $1.5 million in operational support.
SANDS FAMILY FOUNDATION TO RECEIVE $1 MILLION IN CONGRESSIONAL FUNDING
We are beyond grateful for the leadership from New York State Senators Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand leadership in delivering funding through the recently-announced Federal Spending Package. This funding will support our Sands Family YMCA.
$1 MILLION GIFT NAMES AQUATIC CENTER AT SANDS FAMILY YMCA
The YMCA of Greater Rochester is proud to announce the naming of the aquatic center at the Sands Family YMCA. With a gift of $1 million from businessman and philanthropist Brian F. Prince, the center will be named the Prince Aquatic Center.
CANANDAIGUA NATIONAL BANK & TRUST TO NAME THE CNB MIDWAY: ADVENTURE CENTER AND CHILD WATCH
The YMCA of Greater Rochester is proud to announce a partnership with Canandaigua National Bank & Trust to name the CNB Midway: Adventure Center and Child Watch at the Sands Family YMCA. Both of these spaces will be central in serving families and pay homage to a local icon – Roseland Park.
