The YMCA of Greater Rochester’s Women’s Employee Resource Group (ERG) is set to host an in-kind donation drive in support of Dress for Success Rochester. The ERG will be hosting the drive through a 20 Days of Success campaign throughout various YMCA branches, which will run from May 1-20.

They will be collecting donations of new or lightly used items, including closed-toe shoes, black pants, blazers, worktops, handbags, etc. There is also an Amazon wish list of items.

“The Women’s ERG aims to uplift, empower, and inspire the women of the Y while focusing on personal, as well as professional development, mentorship, and volunteerism,” said Deborah Dries, Women’s ERG Co-Chair and Philanthropy Coordinator. “Our partnership with Dress for Success allows us to support an organization that addresses women’s needs by providing opportunities for an improved quality of life and economic sustainability.”

Alyssa Tarantino, Women’s ERG Co-Chair and YMCA Camp Arrowhead Camp Director, has also developed 20 Days of Success tips that will be shared with our Y community on our social stories throughout the entirety of the campaign. The tips are geared towards those seeking jobs, going through the job interview process, and overall professional advice.
