Additional Information and Account Set Up Instructions

OCFS looks at training hours in two-year blocks, not the program license’s four-year registration period. Since that is the case, an employee can take the same training once in the first two-year block, and once in the second two-year block.

After satisfying all the training requirements for a two-year period, an individual can carry over all training hours earned within the last ninety (90) days (about 3 months) of the two-year period, to count toward the training requirements for the next two-year period. Individuals must still obtain a minimum of five (5) hours of training annually.

Each program must have at least one (1) person on site who is certified in CPR/First Aid during all hours of operation.

There are multiple websites that will require employees to create an account in order to complete online trainings. You will find instructions for each website below.

To be paid for training hours, you must submit completed certificates through the below portal. These are sent directly to your supervisor who will then input hours for you.
