YMCA Bringing Free Classes to Parcel 5

‘Y on the Fly’ offering variety of classes throughout the summer

The Y is excited to announce a partnership with the City of Rochester this summer, bringing group exercise classes downtown to Parcel 5. Y on the Fly Presented by the YMCA of Greater Rochester is a free program open to anyone.

“At the Y, we’re in the people business,” said Brian Eastman, Health & Wellness Director, Urban District. “Our mission is to bring together and strengthen our community, so we’re excited for the opportunity to partner with the City of Rochester on this project and offer people the chance to pursue their health and wellness together.”

Classes will be offered on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays beginning on June 15. Advanced registration is not required for Y on the Fly classes. We can’t wait to see you @ the 5!

Class Schedule

Tuesdays

  • 7-8 am | Gentle Yoga with Eva
  • 5:30-6:15 pm | BODYCOMBAT with Sharon
  • 6:30-7:15 pm | Bootcamp with Nene

Thursdays

  • 7-8 am | Active Yoga with Eva
  • 5:30-6:15 pm | BODYCOMBAT with Kristin
  • 6:30-7:15 pm | Bootcamp with Vanessa

Saturdays (only on June 19 & 26, July 10, August 14)

  • 9-10 am | Bootcamp with Vanessa
  • 10:15-10:45 am | Core with Vanessa
*Please note classes will not be held the following days due to previously schedule events:
  • Thursday (evening classes only) August 12 & 26
  • Saturday July 3, 17 & 31, August 7, 21 & 28
