With unanimous approval from the Pittsford Town Planning Board on November 13, the YMCA of Greater Rochester will begin moving ground in December in preparation of constructing one of the largest YMCA branches in the country, on 20 acres at the corner of Clover Street and Jefferson Road. The three-story, 140,000-square-foot facility is slated to open in fall 2019.

A recent article in Rochester’s Democrat and Chronicle featuring YMCA’s Laura Fasano, VP of Healthy Living discusses ways busy people can fit exercise into their daily life. As Fasano explains it, “Small process goals, that’s really where folks need to start. Over two to three weeks, what’s realistic to do? Is it exercising two times a week?”
