COUNSELORS-IN-TRAINING (CIT)

Counselors in Training is designed for 15 year olds who want to expand their leadership skills and learn the skills to become a camp counselor.

ACCREDITATION

YMCA Camp Bay View is proud to be an American Camp Association (ACA) accredited camp. The ACA nationally recognizes camps which meet the highest standards focusing on health, safety, and program quality.

Camp Units

Campers are grouped by grade level and have daily activities tailored for each group.

Camp Bay View Units Grade Camper is Entering Sept. 2024
Seneca Entering Kindergarten or 1st Grade
Tuscarora Entering 2nd or 3rd Grade
Mohawk Entering 4th or 5th Grade
Onondaga Entering 6th or 7th Grade
Teen Trekkers Entering 8th or 9th Grade (10th Grade based on age)
Waterfront Camp Entering 5th-9th Grade
CITs Entering 10th or 11th Grade (Must be at least 14 years)

 

YMCA Camp Cory and YMCA Camp Gorham are heading out to a branch near you to share details about overnight camp, and even get your camper signed up for some summer fun.
