Since 2013, Foodlink and its Curbside Market have become staples in the Greater Rochester area.

ROCHESTER, NY – Karen Blank’s love of the YMCA of Greater Rochester runs deep. She spent more than two decades working in all aspects of health and wellbeing, playing leading roles in some of the Y’s initiatives during that time.

Now that summer’s here, it can be easy to cool off with ice cream and slushies, or even beverages like lemonade, soda, and sweet tea. But we must be careful; all of those items may be filling your body with more sugar than it needs.

You would be hard-pressed to find a person more committed to supporting the Northwest Family YMCA and the YMCA of Greater Rochester than Shannon Bielaska. Her love for the YMCA all started back in the early 1980s when she would bring her kids to play youth sports at the Northwest branch.

Being back at the Northwest Family YMCA has been full circle for Virginia Cross. Virginia, better known as Ginny, was a member of the branch back when it first opened its doors 50 years ago.
