Somewhere, Village People should be applauding what is happening at the Bay View Family YMCA.   

We love a good love story at the YMCA. So, it is only right that we share the tale of Steve and Annette Locke.   

As our yoga folks would say, it’s time for a woosah. Our Active Older Adults (AOA) at the Schottland Family YMCA have been going through a five-part Mindful Meditation series with Yoga Instructor Deb Mangiamele guiding the sessions for the group, and although it is intended to help her extended AOA family, she also finds solace there.

Dieting is a topic that many people have questions on. At the Y, we are proud to look at your health and wellness journey from a holistic approach -- focusing on what goes in our bodies as much as what we do on the outside of them.

Angelo – better known around the Northwest Family YMCA as Sonny - at 95 years old has had a long history with the YMCA of Greater Rochester.

Wednesdays at our Maplewood Family YMCA have become a fixture in recent months. The Lifespan Lily Cafe has become home to Foodlink’s Teaching Kitchen and the members could not be happier about it. 

Camaraderie is one of our favorite parts of our Y community. Just ask the morning crew at our Thurston Road YMCA Neighborhood Center. 

All athletes are welcome here at the YMCA of Greater Rochester. So, let’s take time to highlight one of our very own: Amanda Vito.
